Photos from our Bristol show at Howies

A friend of ours, Paul Groom, took some great photos at the show at Howies Bristol store on Friday. Here is a link to a selection of them….:

We had a great time and got a chance to meet lots of people interested in the mag… hats off to Jen with her Thinking Caps project, who kept on sewing throughout the night, bring her project alive and a big thanks to Howies and @No Gears for all their enthusiasm and support in getting the show together. The show will be up for the next two weeks, so if you missed it on Friday, make sure you check it out….

Looking forward to the show in London at Look Mum No Hands, on Saturday 2nd October… more details to follow…

Busy bike lovers dont despair…

Do you want to get involved with Bristols first cycling carnival but no time to cover your beloved bike in fun fur. The guys at Lovely Planet have come up with a stylish and simple solution… proclaim your love, get involved in a simple flagmaking workshop held at the following venues in the weeks ahead. Each flag has been hand sreened with the logo…. I LOVE MY BIKE and will take you 10 minutes to construct, attach to your bike and go…

There is one condition though….. you must pledge to make it to the FREEWHEELIN CARNIVAL (starts at 12:00 Midday from Queen Square) on the 19th September, and cycle with other bike lovers…

Boneshaker show at Howies Bristol

Come and celebrate the opening of a two-week, cycle-inspired show to coincide with the start of Bristol’s first Cycling Festival. There will be artworks from both issues of the magazine and new artwork specific to the event. There is plenty going on in the gallery space with the Thinking Caps project, a look at the Bristol Bike Project in photos, No Gears are creating some special pieces for the show and lots of other illustrators and photographers who are all mad about bicycles will be showing their work. We will be selling the latest issue of the magazine, will have some stickers and badges to give-away and hopefully some Boneshaker T-shirts (either to order or buy from us on the day!) We hope to see you there.
